Ecru is the colour of unbleached linen - a mixture of white and beige that you might also describe as ivory or cream. Whatever you decide to call it, it's a new colour variant in our bestselling Raglan sweatshirt.

The Raglan sleeve is named after Lord FitzRoy Somerset, the first Baron Raglan and a British Army officer who lost an arm fighting alongside Wellington at the Battle of Waterloo. The Baron had Aquascutum design an overcoat with both sleeves cut from a single piece of fabric, creating a looser fit that still allowed the one-armed soldier a full swing of his sword in battle.

Our Raglan sweat uses the same cut to enable a full-blooded swing of the driver. We love a bit of knitwear as much as the next golfer, but sometimes it’s nice to layer up without breaking out the cashmere, and this cotton sweatshirt is a great option for a more contemporary vibe.
