Product details

Around 2010, Yonex went through a spell of making some serious good stuff.

Ryo Ishikawa was a staff player, and their forgings came out of one of the very best forging houses in Japan. This driver comes from that era - it's a Yonex Ezone 380cc head, with such a perfect pear-shape that I christened the Pear Ulrich Yonexon after one of my favourite Swedes, Per Ulrich Johansson (who is married to Jesper Parnevik's sister - it's a small world, Swedish golf),

It's such a thing of beauty that I figured the only way to do it justice was with a Veylix Arcane 640 t shaft. Sadly I think Veylix are no more, but for a while they made incredibly high-quality shafts with gorgeous paint jobs. This turquiose one turns blue in the sunlight, which is nice.
