We always wanted to add a golf shoe to the Sounder collection. And when the time came, we knew exactly who we wanted to work with - the amazing team at Grenson, an independent British shoemaker based in Northamptonshire, where they have been making shoes by hand for more than 150 years.

After more than a year in development, we couldn't be prouder to launch the Sounder x Grenson golf shoe - a limited-edition collaboration and a unique opportunity to own what's sure to become a collectors' item.

The shoe is based on Grenson’s 201 G-Fit last, which has a generous rounded toe shape for a classic shape, and extra toe spring for comfort. The upper is white Italian calf leather, with an off-white suede and Sounder star, and a Navy back tag made from French calf leather. The shoe is fully lined with naturally wicking uncoated beige calf leather.

The shoes are leather soled with pre-drilled screw-in cleats, with a 3mm rubber midsole, and a Goodyear welted construction. They are as comfortable to wear as they are beautiful to look at, and have been road-tested in all weathers and turf conditions - not least on our summer trip to the world-famous links of Machrihanish.

Each pair of shoes are made by hand in the Grenson workshop in Northampton. The shoe is available in half sizes from size 8 to 13. Your shoes will be shipped in a Grenson shoe box, with a unique Sounder shoe bag made from offcuts of the garment-dyed cotton we use to make our bestselling Good Walk Chino range.

We know that the £495 price isn't cheap, and might not be for everyone. But these hand-made leather-soled shoes are a truly special collaboration, and something that we know will bring the owner great joy for many years to come.

All Sounder clothes are designed to fit comfortably, with enough room for a full swing of the golf club without any loose fabric getting in the way.

Our warehouse operates from Monday to Friday, and we aim to dispatch orders with 48 hours of receipt. During exceptionally busy periods we may take slightly longer - please use the link in your confirmation email to check your shipping status.

UK orders

All UK orders will be shipped by DPD Local, and will be charged at £5.95 per delivery. Orders over £100 qualify for free shipping via DPD Local. DPD provide delivery updates via email and SMS, which require us to share an email address and mobile number with them.

International orders

We ship to any country that accepts DHL Express. At this time this includes:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic Of Korea, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UK and the United States.

Your shipping cost includes the cost of EU duties and taxes, which will be managed by our shipping partner DHL. Local charges may still apply please check with your local authorities before ordering. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and are based on your shipping address and the size and weight of the items that you are purchasing.

All non UK orders of £250 or more are eligible for free shipping. All other non-UK orders are charged a flat shipping rate of £25 via our shipping partner DHL.

Additional taxes or duty fees upon delivery

UK VAT (sales tax) is applied to orders dispatched to the UK. Please be aware that orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may attract additional import duty or local sales tax.

EU shipping costs include the cost of EU duties and taxes, which will be managed by our shipping partner DHL. Local charges may still apply please check with your local authorities before ordering.
