Terry towel cotton is woven on special looms that ‘draw out’ loops of cotton to create a fabric that’s incredibly soft and absorbent - the term ‘terry’ from from the French tirer: to pull). The terry towel used in bathtowels or dressing gowns has a course fabric and a longer loop - but our exclusive jersey terry towelling has short loops and a hint of elasticity that makes for the softest and comfiest material you’ll ever have the pleasure to wear.

It’s the kind of fabric that’s used in to make clothes for babies we sensitive skin, but we think it’s far too nice for toddlers to dribble all over - so we sourced an exclusive Sounder fabric and used it to create a very grown up long-sleeved polo shirt. It’s made in the same Portugese factory as our bestselling Play Well Polo, and features the same three button placket and engineered collar and cuffs - but with a stretchiness and relaxed fit that’s cooler than an ice bath with Freddie Couples.
