You’d be surprised at just how hard it is to make the perfect headcover. The sizing has to be perfect - just tight enough to fully protect the head, with enough elasticity that you can slip it on and off with a satisfying pull.

We could have just gone to a factory in China and asked them to stick a Sounder logo onto one of their standard models. But then it would have been just another head cover - and nobody needs just another head cover.

So after (literally) years of prototyping and testing on the course, we settled on a classic design with the head made from a high-quality sherpa fleece, and a sleeve made from a soft acrylic knit that’s long enough to protect the shaft. We used tough cord to create a sturdy pull loop, added a Sounder word mark patch and a Play Well mantra tab - a reminder to enjoy the moment every time you unleash the timber.
