The 425 TP is surely one of the great modern drivers of all time. The legendary 510 TP was so good as a minimal design, but somehow the slightly larger head of the 425 provides a little extra thump. This really is the moment where the full power arrived. No driver since, in spite of the claims, has provided any extra speed. The head shape is great and I had many happy years using this driver. I still will from time to time today. In fact as I write this I’m decided to build another one!

We’ve done a custom paintjob on this one and which matches the legendary Shaqx shaft. This shaft to those who know is held in very high regard. Vijay is rumoured to have used all of his powers of intimidation to snaffle the last few back in 2005. Apparently a few players who were holding onto uncut spares only gave them up after Vijay put their heads into a vice squeeze in the tour van. Stiff mid section and maximum hook resistance clearly vital to his earning capacity.
